22. Prior Legislative Experience of Members of
17th Lok Sabha
In every general election, the newly elected Lok Sabha gets enriched with members who enter
the lower house either with prior experience as a former MP of Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha; or as
MLA or MLC. While some make their legislative debut by getting elected to the lower house of
parliament. Below is the data of the members who got elected to seventeenth Lok Sabha, and
had prior experience of working in the legislature either in Lok Sabha itself or as MP in Rajya
Sabha, or as members of state legislative assemblies or legislative councils.
