Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged as the largest national party of India in 2019 general
elections. BJP won 303 seats by securing more than 22.90 crore votes. Indian National Congress
(INC) came next by winning 52 seats and securing more than 11.94 votes. All India Trinamool

Congress (AITC) won 22 seats and secured more than 2.49 crore votes. Bahujan Samaj Party
(BSP) won 10 seats by securing more than 2.22 crore votes. Communist Party of India won 2
seats by securing 35.76 lakh votes, whereas Communist Party of India (Marxist) won 3 seats by

securing 1.074 crore votes. 5 seats were won by Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) by securing
more than 8.50 lakh votes.
