cost-effective in the long run. Hence, resulting in its wide scale adoption in all
general and state elections. Moreover, over the years, the evolution of EVM has
helped India transform into a successful e-democracy, adding an additional layer of
transparency, affirming the reliability and integrity of the electronic voting system.
