Total 13 candidates of five RRUPs were able to register victory in 2019 general elections, out of
which 4 were independent candidates. 3 candidates of Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) won,
2 in Kerala and 1 in Tamil Nadu. One candidate each of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen
(AIMIM) won in the states of Telangana and Maharashtra respectively. 2 candidates of Apna Dal
(Soneylal) won in Uttar Pradesh. One candidate of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) won in
Tamil Nadu and one candidate of Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLTP) won in Rajasthan. It must be
noted that IUML and AIMIM are state parties.
