25. Size of Electorate in General Elections 2019

As per the data of the Election Commission of India, size of electorate in general elections 2019
was 91,19,50,734.

The size of electorate has increased from 61,95,36,847 in 1999 general elections to 91,19,50,734

in 2019 general elections. The gradual increase of electorate in the subsequent general election
post 1999 was 67,14,87,930 in 2004, 71,69,85,101 in 2009 and 83,40,82,814 in 2014.
