Outreach: Sharing Insights and Fostering

Democracy

The Election Commission of India (ECI), as one of the world's largest electoral management
bodies, has undertaken various initiatives to share its expertise and best practices with the
international community. From training modules to international conferences, the ECI is actively
contributing to the global dialogue on democratic processes.

1. International Training Modules for Election Management:

- The India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) has
collaborated with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) to develop ten

international training modules.

- Modules cover crucial aspects such as Planning for Elections, Political Finance, Voter
Registration, Election Technology, and Political Parties & EMBs.

- The first five modules were launched in a virtual conference, emphasizing knowledge
exchange on November 17, 2021.
