Constitution of India is flexible

to meet the changing needs

70 years ago, we, the people of
India, having solemnly resolved to
constitute India into a sovereign,
democratic republic, governed by the
principles of justice, liberty, equality
and fraternity, adopted, enacted and

gave unto ourselves a Constitution.

the Central Hall of Parliament.
